TYPE CHOICE:

CHINESEROCKS

Although it may look like it this typeface wasn't chosen because of its title. Instead it was chosen due to its blocky, squared appearance. The typography is also reminiscent of the hand cut typefaces used by saul bass in his posters, who is one of the inspirations behind the design.

COLOUR SCHEME:


CONCEPT:
The concept behind the poster is to focus on the most iconic quote of the film "you're a very nosey fella kitty cat, huh?" It also focuses on the appearance of Jack Nicholson's character Jake Gittes.
