FINAL DEVELOPMENTS
After reflecting from the crit i decided a good way to add more interest and extra detail to the design with out losing the simplicity would be to add more colour. In the end I decided to use gradients.
I experimented with lots of different colour combinations and the connotations that each colour scheme had.
