LOGO DEVELOPMENT
INITIAL TYPE BASED LOGO DEVELOPMENT:
TYPE FACE:
The logo uses the typeface apercu, in the bold weight. This typeface is readable at a number of different sizes.
To differentiate the headings and other bodies of text I decided to introduce a new typeface, I chose lekton in it's regular weight. I think that the typefaces work well together and the introduction of another typeface helps
FINAL LOGO:
CONCEPT OF THE LOGO:
The logo encompasses Frank Lloyd Wright's design aesthetic. The logo is in segments, much like how FLW designed his buildings. It is also vertical to show the structure and form of FLW's buildings. The logo can be used with or with out the accompanying text.
