MODULE BASICS:

We then looked at the briefs that we had brought in and had to explain why we had chosen them, some of the reasons I chose were, Ethical reasons, general interests and trying out new skills and challenging my self. When we fed back to the class people had picked reasons that i hadn't considered.

CLASS DISCUSSION OF REASONS BRIEFS WERE CHOSEN:
  • Straight forward briefs
  • Short time scale
  • Outside comfort zone
  • Free to enter
  • Prize money
  • Best that were available
  • Creative freedom
Next we split off in to small groups and had to do a brief analysis of one of the previous years YCN briefs. My group were looking at the Experian brief.

Make students - young adults aware of credit scores

Raise awareness through a animation, video and storyboards

Good credit scores amongst young people

Experian will benefit and the target audience
WHAT IS THE MESSAGE?
To persuade and motivate people to get a credit score.
WHO IS THE AUDIENCE?
18-24 year old, male and females
CAN YOU FORESEE ANY PROBLEMS WITH THIS?
Dull topic, not relevant to target audience, tone of voice
